By downloading, installing, or using Flori ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Flori is a gut health and wellness tracking application that helps users identify patterns between diet, lifestyle, and digestive symptoms. The App includes the following features:
Health Tracking
- Food and meal logging (manual entry, voice logging, photo analysis, and barcode scanning)
- Drink and beverage logging
- Symptom tracking with severity ratings
- Bowel movement tracking using the Bristol Stool Scale (including optional photo analysis)
- Water intake tracking
- Supplement and medication logging
- Exercise and activity logging
- Sleep quality tracking
- Fasting and meal timing tracking
- Plant diversity tracking
- Fiber intake tracking
- Macronutrient and calorie goal tracking
Wellness Features
- Mood, energy, and stress check-ins
- Gut-brain connection tracking (mental clarity, skin health)
- Guided breathing exercises
- Customizable goal rings and daily checklists
AI and Insights
- AI-powered coaching and chat
- Personalized pattern analysis and recommendations
- Weekly focus challenges
- Smart alerts for symptom patterns and trigger correlations
- Trend and lifestyle analytics
Challenges
- Food elimination and reintroduction challenges

3. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Flori is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. The App is designed for informational and tracking purposes only.
The information provided by the App, including AI-generated insights, coaching responses, pattern analysis, and recipe suggestions, should not be considered medical advice. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your diet, supplement regimen, or health routine.
AI-generated stool photo analysis is for informational tracking only and is not a diagnostic tool. If you experience severe symptoms, persistent discomfort, or any medical emergency, seek immediate medical attention.
4. User Accounts
To use the App, you must create an account using one of the supported authentication methods (email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In). You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account
You may delete your account at any time through the App's profile settings. Account deletion will permanently remove your data from our servers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Flori offers free and premium subscription tiers (Plus and Pro). Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period
- You may cancel at any time through your device's app store settings
- Refunds are subject to the policies of your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play)
- We do not directly collect or store your payment information
Features available on each tier may change over time. We will provide notice of material changes to subscription features or pricing.
6. AI-Powered Features
The App uses artificial intelligence to provide various features including food photo analysis, stool photo analysis, voice meal logging, coaching chat, pattern insights, and recipe suggestions. By using these features:
- You understand that AI outputs are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies
- You agree that AI insights are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice
- You acknowledge that your data is processed by third-party AI services (Google Gemini) to provide these features
- You accept that AI-generated content, including recipes, should be reviewed for allergens and dietary suitability before use
7. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App, including food logs, photos, symptom reports, notes, and other health data. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process this information to provide and improve our services.
Photos submitted for AI analysis (meal photos, stool photos) are processed by our AI service provider and are not permanently stored on third-party servers after processing.
8. Notifications and Reminders
The App provides local notifications for meal reminders, symptom logging reminders, supplement reminders, fasting timers, challenge reminders, and other configurable alerts. These notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. You can manage or disable notifications at any time through your device settings or the App's notification preferences.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the App to collect information about other users
- Misuse AI features by submitting inappropriate or harmful content
- Share your account credentials with others
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission. The App incorporates open source software, the licenses for which are available within the App.
11. Data and Offline Access
The App stores your health data locally on your device to enable offline access. This local data syncs with our servers when a connection is available. While we implement robust security measures, you are responsible for maintaining the physical security of your device.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLORI AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM AI-GENERATED CONTENT, DATA LOSS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components. AI-generated insights, recommendations, and analyses are provided without warranty of accuracy.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in the App.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App operator is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
